Inge Ijpelaar

Inge first came in contact with folk music when she met guitar player Charles Kosman. She met him at a gallery, where they both were playing a gig that day. On his recommendation she went to Ireland, to ‘the Boghil Centre’ in Kilfenora (County Clare), where she took a course in Irish music. Playing folk opened up a whole new world of music for her, after she graduated, with honor, from studying classical flute at the conservatory.
Her biggest sources of inspiration are Kevin Crawford from Lunasa and Brian Finnegan from Flook.
